Let me introduce myself: my name is Jorg Huser. I’ve been helping horses, show jumpers and dressage riders create massive success for the last 30 years. I give them insider secrets and inspirational training proven in the marketplace, boiled down to the simplest terms that work fast. As the youngest son of a traditional horse breeding family out of the “Horse Valley” in Germany (Westfalia, Oldenburg, Hannover, Holstein) I gained more than 30 years of professional experience in preparing young horses for dressage and show jumping. I have been coached by Olympians like Rene Tebbel (Show Jumping) and Bettina Overesch (Eventing) as well as by the top German young horse trainer Ludwig Huser (Pferdewirtschaftmeister FN). I was under a selected group of talented show jumpers and have performed more than 20 sponsored trainings by the Olderburger Association as well as multiple trainings with elite German riders. My most successful horse, “Zorro”, won the Eurocard Cup in Bremen.

In addition, I hold a unique academic pedigree of Masters in Electrical Engineering and Organizational Psychology from top tier German Universities. Unlike other coaches, I integrate my engineering and psychology experience into a soft and effective training philosophy for young horses and inexperienced riders. I teach dressage to the highest level and feel strongly that hunter/jumpers require a foundation in dressage training in order to be successful.

I’ve helped countless show horses and large horse training centers become more successful behind the scenes. But first I want to tell you why I’m so passionate about what I do and why I want to share it with you.

How did you spend the holidays?

My life is amazing. Over the holidays I started to exclusively focus on my dreams, which is to train for the Olympics and to create tools that turn ideas of talent into massive incoming streams. The satisfaction and balance following my purpose creates is amazing. The beauty of my life is the awakening of a spirit for high performance in sports, technology and business.

Since then I've been to Europe visiting friends and family and spend weeks skiing around Lake Tahoe and Mammoth Lakes. Tomorrow I'm heading to Boston for a meeting with Europe's trainer of the champions and 3 more days of fun with friends. Over the last few years I've been on three adventure travels including Australia, New Zealand, Peru as well as to Paris, Turkey, Greece, Egypt Mexico and more exciting places. Three years ago I moved from fun "Oktoberfest" city Munich, Germany to the San Francisco Bay Area in order to maximize purpose and pleasure. On both continents I enjoy extreme horse jumping, dressage, tree skiing, diving, running marathons and discovering exotic places in nature. On the technology side I have been honored with the highest IEEE Award for Computational Intelligence in Yokohama, Japan. And now I am creating the most exciting software and coaching tools that help Geniusses to finish rich with their dreams.

I have a lovely home decorated to my elegant tastes as well as a network of people that support me and a housekeeper. I have a spacious home office and library that looks out onto nice trees. My investments grow every month and I get to ride very talented horses. There are great people in my life who support my dreams and encourage me to get what I want. I buy what I want and do what I want to do most of the time. I coach enthusiastic horse riding talents and my software products sell quickly affording me the lifestyle I always dreamed of.

Hard Times Came Before the Good Times

But it wasn't always so. There was a time when I struggled to pay the rent for a one bedroom apartment after I was not paid for months of hard work. Having focused just on this job, I was unable to find a job nor consulting nor coaching opportunity and I lost all my savings just to make ends meet. Part-time jobs could not cover my expenses and my family advised to move back home to Germany. I did not want to give up my dream and when my working visa expired, I sat down and cried. Fortunately, I had friends to support me finding a solution. Can you understand how frustrating and embarrassing that was?

Back then my business attempts were met with stony indifference and deafening silence. Something about my message wasn’t connecting with the people I thought I could help. The horses nor their owners were supportive to my dream to go to the Olympics nor did they value my years of experience. Horse riding students disappeared in fear and I did not know how to effectively lift them out of a state of freezing. My coaching slogans "Just freaking do it!" or "Get over it!" did not reach the success rates I expected. My inspiration was not as it was before, when exceptional horses played a major role in my life. There was no balance in my life and I was missing the joy, happiness and self-esteem that the horse training creates now in my life. I couldn’t attract, influence or persuade even my good friends with my ideas. Those were hard, embarrassing times.

One day I discovered a secret. I had been listening to tapes and seminars during my daily runs that helped me to relax after a day of talking to various startup companies, coaching students and riding horses. The companies all had ideas but a lack of cash flow and were unable to turn their ideas into positive cash flow. My efforts on the horse riding side did not create positive results either. Despite my best efforts only a few of my students have been truly benefiting from all the valuable advice I've given them. The message I got on the tapes was not new but the words hadn’t sunk in. After my run, I was walking to my dilapidated mailbox, afraid of what bills might be inside. Suddenly the impact of what he’d been saying hit me. I felt like I’d been given the keys to creating massive success for myself and many others. I felt the energy that was driving me to turn beginning horse riders into happy and effective riders despite of fear. The most amazing thing is that the same principles can be applied to business and many other areas of life. The world was a lighter, happier and more positive place. In that instant, I knew I could create credibility, a successful business that was a value creation machine, become an incredible riding athlete, coach and much more. I am not a kid, but I skipped all the way back to my front door.

My world changed that fast and yours can, too. Wouldn’t it be great having that kind of enthusiasm in your life again?

I instantly started making changes. I transformed the way I shaped the idea and attracted the people I wanted to become my customers. Coaching started to become really fun as I could see my students grow from lesson to lesson. I was still me and my idea, only better. It was so easy I could hardly believe it. Amazingly instead of getting the same old, “We’ll call you if we’re interested” or “I have fear to do what you want me to do,” people started saying, “Yes”. I began shifting the ways I looked at my system of riding and its individual relation to my students. Niche markets popped like bubbles out of the water and suddenly clients showed up that were interested in what I could do. And they wrote checks, too! It felt like I was finally free. The gray clouds lifted and the sun came out. Along the way I got a side benefit: I created the mastermind group of my dreams that is going to support me for the rest of my life.

What horse riding skills do you get?

Bay Area Horse Riding is an English-style training service, teaching hunters, jumpers, eventing, and dressage to riders of all ages. We are flexible to train out of various locations in the Bay Area, where both adults and children can learn horsemanship skills in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, from basic horse handling, grooming and tacking up, to riding on the flat, over jumps, or cross-country and event riding. The teaching program is based on the balanced seat and includes elements of equitation, dressage, and jumping, as well as safety and horse management.

What is so great about the facility of the English riding school?

One of the facilities we train out of is located at Skyline in Woodside, on 30 acres of fields and woods winding along the beautiful Skyline Blvd in Woodside. Situated on the Peninsula, between San Francisco and San Jose, less than 2 miles west of Highway 280, the stables are conveniently located. The barn includes sand arenas, one of which contains a full jump course, and more than 12 acres of open field for riding. The facility adjoins Huddard Park, providing just under 1000 acres in size and trails, which are available to equestrians.

Who else can you meet there?

We have developed a close-knit community of riders of all ages and levels who can observe, learn from, and support each other, making our clients one of the strengths at Bay Area Horse Riding. Our riders range from those who have never seen a horse up close, to young riders embarking on their show careers as well as adults who are enjoying the chance to resume riding after a break for schooling or career. Bay Area Horse Riding has access to a talented group of school horses, well suited to teaching both adults and children. Bay Area Horse Riding offers a variety of services including private, semi-private and small group lessons. Special short Beginners Clinic Series are offered on weekends, specially designed for the real beginner, with separate sessions available for adults.
